This story is my favourite story i have ever read up to date. It's difficult for me to find a book where i can really get attached to characters and worry about what might happen to them next. As soon as i started reading the story i felt like i knew Christopher personally, i felt i knew everything about him. When Chris ran away from home to go find his mother i was interested on how he would be able to cope with being in a new environment alone. Chris was not used to the people around him not knowing that he was different than most children his age so there reactions to his behaviour's were rude and intimidating to him. I believe we take simple tasks for granted, reading this story really made me realise how lucky i am to not have as many challenges as someone like Chris would have.

  1. You sure did get really attached to this book! As I did, I couldn't stop reading it. As we discussed in the character discussion, I'm in agreement with you that he would not be able to cope with the new enviroment. His brain started to shutdown. I don't take for granted a second I live, but I would find it hard to beleive Chris would think the same because of his emotional incapability.
